Robotic Surgery
What is robotic surgery?
It is the most advanced form of minimally invasive surgery. The robotic system is used as a tool controlled by the surgeon to offer more precise movement with 3D high definition visibility.
How does is work?
The surgeon works from a console next to you within the operating room and controls all movement of the instruments. Long instruments and a camera are used to perform the surgery.
What are the benefits of robotic surgery over other laparoscopic surgery?
The robotic system offers enhanced control with higher quality visualization. The rotational wrist motion provides increased dexterity and more precise movement of the surgical instruments, while the camera provides a high definition 3D image for a superior view of the surgical field.
Do you offer robotic surgery?
We offer robotic surgery for many conditions. To see a full list of procedures performed by Dr. Treto, click here.
What should I expect on the day of my robotic surgery?
